A seismic monitoring system is a system that can be applied to all types of structures. With this system, all three-axis movements of the structure are continuously recorded in the system’s internal memory 24/7.
Seismic monitoring systems are generally designed in two different configurations, depending on the characteristics of the structure and the client’s requirements.
The first is a simpler version. For example, in residential buildings, special devices are installed at three locations: the lower part of the building, the middle levels, and the upper part. All movements and minor vibrations occurring in the building are recorded in the devices’ internal memory. The operator or engineer can download this data from the system at any time.
The second system is more advanced. The entire monitoring system is connected to a centralized data center, allowing all recorded data to be managed through a single platform. Engineers, operators, clients, or any other authorized person can access the virtual data center and view the recorded data.
The system automatically collects the data and generates safety reports, which are then automatically shared with the relevant authorized parties registered in the system.
