As ESDESCON LLC, we supply expansion joints and structural bearings manufactured by the German company MAURER for projects across our country. One of these projects is the Gudyalchay bridge on the Khachmaz–Khudat highway in the Khachmaz district.
The old bridge, which failed to meet modern standards, had collapsed. A new bridge was rapidly constructed by the project's main contractor, Körpü Bina Tikinti LLC, successfully restoring traffic flow along the route. MAURER expansion joints (movement joints) and MAURER elastomeric bearings were utilized in the construction of this bridge.
The new bridge is 70 meters long, 14.5 meters wide, and features a 2-span design, replacing the collapsed structure that was originally built in 1974.
