TMD

The TMD system, or Tuned Mass Damper, is used in high-rise buildings, towers, flagpoles, tubular structures, etc. TMD is installed in projects over 120 m high, although the major factor is the ratio of the structure's height to its cross-section. Maurer prefers to design TMD systems with the simplest mechanism. This simplifies installation and maintenance while ensuring the system's durability and reliable operation.
The system consists of a mass determined according to the structure requirements and hydraulic arms connecting it to the structure. Maurer has implemented three projects using the TMD system in our country: Baku Tower, SOCAR Tower, and the new flagpole on the State Flag Square.
