Bar Couplers
ESDESCON LLC also sells Bar Couplers in our country. The bar couplers are manufactured at the MAURER plant in India. These couplers speed up the construction process and significantly reduce costs. In the conventional method, bars are connected by overlapping. Bar couplers simplify this process. These couplers, threaded on both ends, connect bars using threads rather than overlapping. This saves on each bar element (considering the bar part, damaged when overlapping). Like all our products, bar couplers are accompanied by test results and quality certificates.

Seismic design and more
When an earthquake protection system is used for a structure, the first step is to design it according to this system. In conventional seismic protection solutions, preference is given to the rigid design of structures so that they can withstand loads from earthquakes, wind, etc. However, in current techniques such as foundation isolation, TMD, etc., structures are designed to be lighter since the impacts of earthquakes and wind are absorbed by the products used in the corresponding chosen method. E.g., when the foundation isolation is chosen, earthquake loads are absorbed by bearings (isolators), and there is no need for a rigid structural design as before. Seismic Monitoring
A seismic monitoring system can be implemented for all types of structures. This system records 24/7 all the structure vibrations (along 3 axes) in memory. Seismic monitoring systems are mainly designed in 2 versions, depending on the structure specifics and customer requirements. The first one is the simple version. Special devices are installed, e.g., on 3 levels of a residential building (at the bottom, in the middle, and at the top). All the building movements and minor vibrations are recorded in the devices' memory. The operator or engineer can download these data from the system at any time. The second option is a more complex system. The entire monitoring system is connected to a unified data center. All collected data is controlled through the system. Engineers, operators, customers, or any other persons with access to the system can enter the virtual data center and view those data. The system collects information and automatically sends prepared safety reports to authorized parties.
